How ItaliaHelp came about – an idea between a lack of craftsmen and language chaos
Looking for a handyman in Italy – Do you have a vacation home in Italy and are urgently looking for a handyman? Or do you need help around the house, in the garden or simply someone who knows their way around? Sounds easy – but it’s not.
We know this because we have been in this exact situation.
More than once.
The story begins – like so many good ideas – with a real problem: the shower is dripping, the garden is overgrown, the air conditioning is on strike… And us?
We have searched. Googled. Asked. And when we finally found someone, the next hurdle came: the first phone call.
Language barriers, misunderstandings, wild gestures.
And in the end, there was often still no tradesman – or the wrong one.
So we thought:
Why isn’t there a platform where you can find help quickly and easily? At least we didn’t find one!
Not only for large companies, but also for private individuals – like us.
And that’s how ItaliaHelp was born.
A platform that does exactly that: brings people together on Lake Garda.
